What a sweet, sweet baby girl. I had the pleasure of visiting little Ella Mae Sullivan and her parents Jennifer and Jeremiah when she was just 2.5 weeks old. Now that my own baby is almost 5 months Ella seemed like such a peanut! It really is crazy how fast they grow up. Newborn sessions are always touch and go because, well, they’re NEWBORNS, and at first Ella didn’t seem to be in the mood to have her picture taken. After a snack from Momma and some lovin’ however she was amazing and sat/cuddled/laid perfectly for over an hour. Perfect precious preciousness.
Before I had a baby of my own I never got the whole super-cute-baby-feet thing. But I’m a converted woman – those teeny toes are delicious!
Some of you may remember the chandelier shot that I did with my Teddy. When I saw the chandelier in baby Ella’s grandmother’s house I knew I had to try for a redux.
You may remember Jenn and Jerry from their wedding (part I and part II) back in June. One of my favorite shots from the day was of Jenn going down the stairs in her dress. I used the same mirror in the shots below. It’s so neat forming relationships with my clients and being able to document the amazing changes in their lives.
Jeremiah is a policeman and wanted to incorporate the American Flag into some shots. Ella was kind enough to oblige.
Squish. Squish. Squish.
And finally, I was NOT forewarned that there would be an english bulldog PUPPY at the house when I arrived. My brain seriously almost exploded from the cuteness. English bullies are my FAVORITE and oh.my.gosh how cute is this one?
And I leave you with what could possibly be the most adorable photograph of all time:
Ho-lee heck that’s cute!
Best wishes to the new Mom and Dad, you’re lucky to have such a good little girl, and she’s lucky to have you!
