One of the many reasons that I became a photographer is because I have a slight speech impediment that had a heavy impact on my childhood, and when I picked up a camera I could ‘say’ exactly what I wanted to express without worry that I would stutter over my words.  As I grew and matured […]

Today marks one year since Maria & Brian’s wonderful Lyman Orchards Wedding.  In that short year Maria and Brian have bought their first home, planted a fruitful garden, loved on their puppies, celebrated the start of Brian’s medical residency, and supported Maria in her entrepreneurial efforts.   This is a couple that doesn’t mess around […]

I had always imagined Southern California to be some sort of magical land filled with surfers, whales, and beautiful healthy people everywhere.  Well, after traveling to the greater LA area for Maytal and Jean’s engagement photos I can now confirm that I was exactly correct.  I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend with […]

I love mini-sessions, and everyone else seems to as well!  Due to seemingly higher demand this year I’m offering THREE days of minis.  The first day I’ll only offer three time slots around sunset on Rexhame Beach in Marshfield – celebrate the last gasp of summer!  The second day will be held at Fort Revere Park […]

They say that when life hands you lemons, you should add some sugar and make lemonade.  Teddy and I made some lemonade together this past week and I do have to agree that it was certainly delicious.  Unfortunately though I’ve found that sometimes life PELTS you with lemons to the point that you end up […]

Korri! your big is here for you. Wish I didn’t live 3000 miles away… Matt’s uncle owns an autobody shop in Whitman. It’s called Tarky’s. Ralph Tarkanian is Matt’s uncle. Oh, it’s Kristin’s dad, of course you know Kristin. Not sure if that is to far away from where you live, but call and tell him you are our friend and you and Krissy were in the same sorority. He is trust worthy. You could call Matt too for legal advice, he knows a bit about civil lit and actually we just filed a small claims case for an accident and won, although Matt’s main area of expertise is in criminal law. Sending you hugs!! Leslie

  • Sara LilyAugust 10, 2015 - 1:49 pm

Hang in there, Korri & Teddy! I can’t believe what you’ve gone through since last year – this HAS to mean good stuff is on its way, right? I’ll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. 😉

  • Elina HamiltonAugust 10, 2015 - 3:00 pm

This is so awful I’m so sorry:( I can’t imagine any of it and you always inspire me in how you raise your beautiful son and how you’ve grown your business. Fed in for mini sessions! Just loved our fall ones. I will continue to refer you and will DEF look at some of your gallery for purchase. We are willing to help please ask!! We would love to have Teddy over to keep him entertained:)

  • Steph TulmanAugust 10, 2015 - 3:11 pm

You are an incredible and remarkable woman! Keep your chin up. I’m going to talk to my Mom – she is a Consumer Advocate here in Phoenix for the Channel 12 affiliate. If you were here in Phoenix, she’d definitely get you some of what you deserve, back. Being in MA, makes it tricky, but let me see what she can suggest. xoxo

  • Bill McCarthyAugust 10, 2015 - 3:25 pm

    Korri,
It was such a pleasure “working” with you at Greg and Jamies wedding and after seeing all the crappy stuff going on now in your life I Just ordered a canvas print. hope it helps out. You are too creative a photographer and caring Mom not to succeed and with all the good will, love and respect you’ve earned from clients and friends you’ll get out of this low spot in your life/career… You’ve earned success

  • Laura Brownlee PinedaAugust 10, 2015 - 3:30 pm

    Xoxoxo

  • Anne Duncan MaslandAugust 10, 2015 - 4:16 pm

Korri…We have Gillian’s bike in the basement & have it rehabed for you & Teddi…it is a reproduction 1960s model so it is very sturdy…message me on FB if you want to see a pix of it…

  • Hetty RedmannAugust 10, 2015 - 4:45 pm

You are brave and amazingly talented.
I’m sending good vibes and will definitely order pics from Jamie & Gregg’s wedding…and I will see what else I can do. ❤️

  • Melinda ErcolanoAugust 10, 2015 - 5:45 pm

Things will turn better soon. You were handed this journy because God(if u believe) knows what you can handle and has something bigger in life for you that is a coming

You are one of the strongest women that I know. Brian and I are happy to help in anyway we can. I’ll do my best to get pregnant so we can book another shoot asap. XO

  • Jeff WeeksAugust 10, 2015 - 8:48 pm

    Hug. Kiss. Repeat.

  • Nora GallinaAugust 10, 2015 - 9:48 pm

Hello Korri..I’m Caroline Alden’s mom, Nora. I know what it’s like to be a single mom. Caroline’s dad was always there for her both financially and emotionally but it can be a very scary feeling raising a child on your own. My heart goes out to you and I will keep you and your lovely son in my thoughts. Ask and Ye shall receive … So which one of your pictures will look nice on my walls?

  • Maggie ClarkAugust 10, 2015 - 9:51 pm

    Sending you positivity and hugs!

  • Mary MalmrosAugust 10, 2015 - 10:50 pm

Hi Korri. I got the link to this page from Caroline Alden. I’m SO sorry for all these awful things that have happened to you, and REALLY sorry that I didn’t know you before you chose Geico, because I would have steered you away from ’em 😉 Tell ya what, the two images I like best are actually taken from your recent vacation — the one of Teddy walking on the logging road, and the s’mores image. Are those for sale? If not I’ll choose a couple of other ones.

Please give yourself and Teddy a big big hug from me. Best, Mary

  • Dianne Curtis D'AutilioAugust 11, 2015 - 1:39 am

So sorry to hear about all your troubles. I wish I knew people to help with auto insurance. I will be contacting you soon with a possible family photo shoot. Just have to talk to the girls and coordinate a date that will work for everyone. Stay positive.

  • Kate McKenna EadsAugust 11, 2015 - 3:05 am

You are so strong. You got this mama bear. I would like to book a full fall session with you if you do those!. A photographer never has enough good family photos. This year I’m investing!!! Xo

  • Lori CannonAugust 11, 2015 - 12:04 pm

Your work is beautiful! Sorry about all the lemons recently 🙁 What a creative way to show that you could use a little help. I wish I could help but I am unfortunately not in a position to do so right now. I hope things turn around very soon for you. Keep your chin up and keep on being that amazing Momma for your adorable Teddy ♡

  • Bartina Louise Barkley-ZaksAugust 11, 2015 - 1:27 pm

I cannot offer any of those, as we are in a similar situation. But I can offer prayers, and “virtual” hugs. God bless.

  • JG El Hombre MaloAugust 11, 2015 - 1:58 pm

Sorry to hear this, KLC. Your work is beautiful, and you deserve (and will find) a way out of this current bind… I know the owner of Advanced Automotive in E. Boston, and I can talk to him and explain your situation, if you’d like.

  • Joe Carreiro Jr.August 11, 2015 - 3:29 pm

    Will get working on it

  • Nadine LewisAugust 11, 2015 - 7:30 pm

    What town are you in?

  • Erin MarieAugust 11, 2015 - 9:03 pm

Hi! I wanted to purchase a print but can’t figure out how to checkout. I hope we all can help!

  • Alison WillisAugust 11, 2015 - 10:28 pm

Is there any chance you qualify for a car from Good News Garage? This is the kind of situation they specialize in: they’re a nonprofit that rehabs donated cars for use by people in need. http://www.goodnewsgarage.org/ We’re also going to look through the albums, and repost as much as we can. You’re going to be okay. Good luck.

  • Ali ManchesterAugust 12, 2015 - 1:44 am

This breaks my heart. I’ve been in the same exact position. Unfortunately there was not much i could do…I’m still paying for the car that got smashed up, but in the meantime found an affordable car on Craigslist that could at least get me and my 2 daughters around. All I can do is let you know you’re not alone. You’re photography is beautiful and you have an adorable son. Hugs mama!

  • Allison VallarelliAugust 12, 2015 - 1:32 pm

Korri, that is so much to deal with! You are amazing. I hope that you are doing ok – pushing through will be tough, but once this is behind you, it will be over! I compare situations like this to giving birth – seriously – think about it!

  • Sandy DerapsAugust 12, 2015 - 8:17 pm

You are awesome & brave. God bless you! God was & is with you always. When he shuts a door He opens a window. Have faith you have a beautiful little guy what a gift. Keeping you in my prayers. Aunt Sandy
