Monica & Rich are pretty special. They have such a neat story – Rich has a job that takes him all over the country and far away from his Eastern Oregon home and his love. They tried doing long distance for a while but eventually Monica left Oregon and together they’ve lived in North Dakota, Wyoming, and now New Hampshire in their trusty trailer and with their beloved Puppy Nala. It takes a lot of dedication to each other to get through all that and they’ve done so wonderfully. What also makes these two special is the enthusiasm they had for my crazy idea for their engagement shoot. Me: “Hey – want to get up at 5 AM, drive 2 hours in the dark and then hike for 30 minutes to a cold windy cliff for photos?” Them: “YES!” So that’s how it happened, and I’m so glad it did! Side note, this shoot was done at the West Rattlesnake Mountain overlook in the southern White Mountains of New Hampshire. Such a fun hike and very doable for experienced hikers and families alike. I’ll definitely be going back with my own son and pup next spring.
