Lisa & Chris | Boston Engagement Photography

I had a lot of fun with this one.  Chris proposed to Lisa in the Public Garden so we all really enjoyed going back to the place that is so special to them.  Since I’ve shot in the Garden and around Beacon Hill a few times before I decided to shake things up a bit and work on my lens-flare technique.  I’m happy to say that I’ve :almost: mastered it.  See for yourself…

It was an absolutely gorgeous autumn day, though quite cold.  Lisa & Chris did great, though I forgot my gloves and almost lost my camera-holdin’ fingers!

We roamed around Beacon Hill for a bit…

They totally killed the dip!

A quick smooch and then we headed back to the park for some sun-shootin!

I couldn’t decide which flare shot I liked the best, so you get ’em all!

I think this one might be my favorite…

This next shot is for Chris.  Like most of the guys I shoot, he was totally sweet and sat through the shoot because he loves Lisa and knows it’s important to her (let’s face it, it’s almost ALWAYS the bride who cares more about the photos)….but near the end of our few hours his attention started to turn towards something more interesting – squirrels!  The Garden is packed with them and Chris made it his mission to get one to come up to him…he aaalllmmmooossst got there 🙂

Next time Chris, next time.

Thanks for a great day Lisa & Chris – see you in September for the wedding!

xoxo,

klc

These came out so good Korri. You did a great job. We can’t wait to see the rest of them. It’s an honor to be the first engagement shoot on your new blog.
